The Roomba 980 is still one of the top performing robots we've reviewed despite the slight limitations. It's also not as expensive as other top-of-the-line models. The iRobot Roomba is easy to set up and start working immediately. After you have removed the pull tab for the battery and yellow bin insert from the undercarriage, all that you need to connect it to its Home Base docking station or an outlet on the wall, press its large "Clean" button, and let it go to work. It will return to its dock when it is running out of battery or becomes full of trash. There are also indicators on top that indicate when the bin is empty, when it is in need of recharging or when it loses its Wi-Fi.
